Tomas Lukac, of Slovak origin, is a member of the “New Era” generation of Slovak and Czech Jazz musicians born after the fall of the Iron Curtain. ELLIPSIS QUINTET: THE IDENTITY
Based in Graz, Ellipsis Quintet is a brand new band consisting of five young creative musicians from very different cultural backrounds, who want to develop they're own style and perhaps even sub-genre of music. Fusion, jazz, rock, ethnic, and more, with traditional music from all around the balkans being the common denominator, all pass through a carefull filter of ''what is necessary to the music'' and ''what is truly creative'', forming an amalgam of sounds and emotions that trancends labels and borders.
